Cook like Heather

We now have a new recipe section that features some of Heather’s favorite recipes. These recipes were featured in various articles over the past couple of years and some of them are her own personal recipes. I haven’t had a chance to try out any of them yet, but they certainly sound yummy. Happy cooking!

‘Alien Love Triangle’ Resurrected

Film stars will descend on a Welsh village for the world premiere of a lost film.

Kenneth Branagh, who stars in Alien Love Triangle, will be attending its opening at La Charrette in Gorseinon, near Swansea.

The movie, directed by Trainspotting’s Danny Boyle, also features Courtney Cox and Heather Graham.

Gorseinon’s own pocket-sized picture palace, made from a converted train carriage, is located in a back garden and played to packed houses of 23 people since 1953. But it is being forced to close its doors because it has fallen into disrepair.

As a fitting send-off, film critic and writer Mark Kermode, of BBC2’s The Culture Show, has arranged for Boyle’s never-released, 30-minute film to get its first showing there on February 23.

Mark said: “A phone call to producer Andrew Macdonald met with an enthusiastic response, and a promise to take the matter up with Miramax. And then came the cherry on the cake – if we could get the film, Kenneth Branagh would come to the premiere. Forget London’s Leicester Square – Gorseinon’s about to get red carpet treatment.”

‘Baby on Board’ for Heather

Jerry O’Connell, Heather Graham, John Corbett, Katie Finneran, Ian Ziering and Lara Flynn Boyle will join forces for the indie romantic comedy “Baby on Board.”

Brian Herzlinger’s indie feature follows a happily married couple (O’Connell, Graham) whose lives and high-powered careers are thrown into chaos thanks to an unplanned pregnancy. Corbett and Finneran play their best friends, a bitter couple whose misguided advice on parenting and marriage only makes things worse.

Flynn Boyle plays Graham’s overdemanding ad agency boss. Ziering plays a gay obstetrician and Graham’s confidante.

A Plus Prods. and Big Shoot Prods. are backing the project, with A Plus’ Emilio Ferrari (“I Know What You Did Last Winter”) producing and Big Shoot’s Russell Scalise executive producing. Scalise penned the screenplay with Michael Wright.

The five-week shoot is set to begin Tuesday in Chicago. Ferrari’s Entertainment Seven has worldwide distribution rights.

Site updates

After working on the new gallery for roughly a year now, it is finally open and can be accessed via heather-photos.org (designed by Melanie). Unfortunately it’s not 100% complete yet, but there are tons of new scans, new photoshoots, new film promos, stills, on-set images, screencaps, dvd extras and much more for you to check out. I am still in the process of shifting over the remainder of the items in the old gallery archive and adding in the hundreds of new photos that I still have left to sort, but I think you will all be incredibly happy with all of the new items that have already been added. Please note that you will need to re-register in the new gallery in order to view the photoshoots.

Lastly, we decided to close the forum because it was being bombarded with spam on a daily basis and we just didn’t have time to keep up with it in general.
