Cherry To Première At Berlin Film Festival

Heather’s latest film Cherry (see the trailer in an earlier post here) is to receive its World Première at the Berlin Film Festival in February.

Cherry also stars James Franco, Dev Patel, Ashley Hinshaw and Lili Taylor.

A couple of stills from the film have now been added to the Gallery.

Heather @ Evening Benefitting Homeless Youth…

It’s been a busy few days for Heather.  No public appearances for nearly two months and then a couple come along in a few days!

Yesterday Heather made her 2nd public appearance of the year when she attended the incredibly long titled An Evening Benefitting Homeless Youth Services Of The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center in Los Angeles yesterday (23rd January 2012).

Less of a surprise was Heather looking amazing in her tight red dress.

Heather @ Cirque du Soleil Gala

Making her first public appearance of the year, Heather attended the Cirque du Soleil ‘OVO’ Celebrity Opening Night Gala in Santa Monica last night (20th January 2012).

Judy Moody HD Screencaps

To make sure this winter is “not bummer” we have a set of HD screencaps from last year’s summer kids movie starring Heather.  Yes, the impossibly titled Judy Moody And The Not Bummer Summer.

Heather took the role of cool Aunt Opal babysitting Judy and her brother Stink for the summer in the movie adaptation of Megan McDonald’s hit series of books.

Heather To Receive Career Achievement Award At BIFF

The Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) will be honouring Heather with its Career Achievement Award today, 2nd December.

The award is given to “an actor or actress whose work has had a major impact and advanced the frontiers of cinematic artistry around the world.”

Past winners include actors Alan Arkin, Johnny Depp, Nicolas Cage, Laurence Fishburne, and Daryl Hannah and the director Roger Corman.

Stunning At TIFF, No Argument

Heather attended the première of “The Flying Machine” at TIFF, the Toronto International Film Festival, yesterday (Sept 11) and looked amazing in her little white dress.

She also went to the Sony Pictures Classics 20th Anniversary party later the same day.

Heather Might Have ‘Little In Common’

Nellie Andreeva of Deadline.com reports that Heather has signed on to star in a comedy pilot for Fox.

A previously made pilot of Little In Common, by Rob Thomas, was passed over earlier this year by the networks despite being well received.  The retooled version stars Heather and Rob Corddry as parents with very contrasting neighbours.

We haven’t seen Heather on the small screen since her shortlived series Emily’s Reasons Why Not and her recurring role on Scrubs.  Hopefully the show will be picked for series.
