While this film isn’t one of Heather’s lighter films, it is a must see for Heather fans, unless of course you are offended or bothered by the depiction of drug use. It’s a very well made film, has a great soundtrack and the cast is fantastic.

It isn’t by chance that the troubled protagonists of “Broken” have the portentous names of Hope and Will. Before it’s over, the story of Hope (Heather Graham), an aspiring singer-songwriter from Cleveland whose life comes apart while under the sway of her heroin-addicted boyfriend, Will (Jeremy Sisto), becomes an allegory in which, according to the movie’s production notes, she “is navigating through her own version of the seven deadly sins.”
That translates into a depiction of alternative outcomes to Hope’s story as she interacts with the denizens of the all-night diner where she works as a waitress. Each of these hustlers and lowlifes points her in a different ominous direction; one woman is a disheveled, ruined facsimile of what she might become.
Heather’s music video for the song The Hanging Tree from ‘Broken’ is finally online and available for viewing through official ‘Broken’ YouTube page. There are also a few other videos there, including a new trailer and behind the scenes footage, that you should check out as well. I was already incredibly excited about this film, but now I’m even more excited to see it. I personally think that Heather looks and sounds wonderful in the video.
