‘Broken’ Trailer

The trailer for Broken is now online and can be viewed here through Moviefone. I, for one, am very excited about this film because it looks to be a role that will be truly heartbreaking and really showcase Heather’s more intense and dramatic side.

Please feel free to share you thoughts here in the forum once you’ve had an opportunity to view the trailer.

Mood prevails in tale of “Broken” L.A. dreams

Addiction and amour fou are one and the same in “Broken,” an indie film starring Heather Graham and Jeremy Sisto as the symbolically named Hope and Will.

Much of what unfolds in the L.A.-set drama feels overly pointed — an approach only partly explained by the story’s final revelation. Good performances and an intriguingly noirish edge-of-town sensibility go only so far to compensate for an abundance of on-the-nose dialogue in the film, which took its world-premiere bow Saturday at AFI Fest.

Love is the Drug for Actress Heather Graham

“I can identify with the desire to do something even though you know you’ll destroy yourself,” said actress Heather Graham after the world premiere of the film “Broken” at the 2006 AFI Fest in Los Angeles.

It is a tale of disillusionment in the big city, though it’s really about a sort of dual-diagnosis addiction – to both love and drugs. Those powerful forces intertwine to form a psychosis of mind and spirit that drive the drama.

Speaking of her relapsing junkie character in the gritty downtown L.A. drama, Graham said “I understand the feelings of addiction, not with heroin, but the feeling.”

‘The Accidental Virgin’

From vixen to virgin, Heather Graham is traveling the sexual landscape. Graham — who rose to fame as Rollergirl, the fast-living, promiscuous porn star (never without her signature skates) in “Boogie Nights” — is producing “The Accidental Virgin,” a sex comedy where she plays, well, “a girl who doesn’t have sex for one year,” the 36-year-old actress explained. According to Graham, the character isn’t completely foreign to her. “I’ve had some experience with [long stretches of celibacy] in the past,” she laughed. “Luckily, not at the moment.” Graham can be seen next in “Bobby,” Emilio Estevez’s movie about the assassination of Robert Kennedy…

Adam Ant: “Angel Heather Saved My Life”

British pop singer ADAM ANT has revealed how the relationship he had with Hollywood actress HEATHER GRAHAM saved him from depression and suicide. The PRINCE CHARMING star, real name STUART LESLIE GODDARD, met Graham when she was a 24-year-old drama student in 1993. And the troubled musician, who was dealing with deep depression and panic attacks at the time, soon fell deeply in love with Graham, calling her his “angel”. But although he insists she Goddard says, “With her pure blue eyes and gentle smile, Heather seemed like an angel to me. She was beautiful but unaffected by the effect she had on men. “I was instantly mesmerised. This was serious. It didn’t create the usual desire to run a mile when a relationship got serious. My diary is full of love for Heather – I was using the word without fear.” “When I was with her I felt happy. But the rest of the time I suffered bouts of depression and fear. I was scared of losing Heather.”
